Where is Home?

We are facing a big decision soon...well, that is, hopefully facing a decision. We have an offer on our house (not a good one, but it's an offer & with our savings we'll be able to at least get out of the house). If the buyer follows through rather than disappearing like so many others & actually gets approved by the managers, we need to decide where we want to live. There is a possibility that we could transfer to another location with Mike's job. Our "permanent" decision also may not be made right away as we may have to rent for awhile first. OK, enough of my rambling. Here is the question...If you had the choice, how would you choose where your family would live? We are in a fabulous ward & have made wonderful friends here, but we also miss being close to family. Of course we'll pray, but there are so many things to factor in, so I want to know how you would decide. Thanks for your input!
